Sherron George - A former professor of Mission and Evangelism at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary,

Tad & Jane Gilmore - Serving Nepal as medical missionaries for six years, the Gilmores were on furlough in
the U.S. when the tragedy of 9/11 happened. Realizing that their return to civil-war torn Nepal was in jeopardy and recognizing a massive mission opportunity among international students, Tad and Jane discerned a change in their call. Today, the Gilmores are engaged in the NYC Project, living as close as possible to Columbia University in order to reach foreign students.
Jamie & Susan Ramge - Serving the un-reached Quechua people in Bolivia.
Frontera de Cristo - A border ministry supported by both the PC(USA) and the Presbyterian Church of Mexico,
serving the border region of Douglas, AZ and Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico. The goals of the ministry are to build relationships and understanding between Christians of both nations, promote fair trade, provide seminary internships and advocate for immigration reform.
Highlands Camp - Through its Allenspark, CO camp and retreat programs, they strive to guide people to Jesus
Christ, providing a unique experience of Christian living in God's outdoor environment.

southern Colorado church and have met Jim Boyd, the Commissioned Lay Pastor who leads this small congregation serving a rural community.
Agua Prieta Mission Trip - Agua Prieta, located on the border with Douglas, AZ, is home to El Lirio De Los
Valles (The Lily of the Valley) Presbyterian congregation, as well as the Nueva Esperenza (New Hope) community center. Each year since 1990, during spring break, an inter-generational mission team spends the week with the leadership of Frontera de Cristo Border Ministry learning more about border issues, reflecting on scripture and sharing our faith with our Mexican brothers and sisters.
High School Doulos Mission Trip - An annual mission trip for our high school students. This
year our students will be going to Mexico June 6-14. They will be stopping in Agua Prieta to visit Lily of the Valley Presbyterian Church and then traveling on to Hermosillo where they will be doing a VBS program for children, and a concert for the community.

7-member team worked on a home in Pascagoula, MS.
The O.U.R. Center - The mission of the O.U.R. Center is "to unify community resources to help people in the
St. Vrain Region meet their individual needs and move toward self-sufficiency." In addition to financial support Central Presbyterian Church serves meals several times throughout the year at the O.U.R. Center, providing food and necessary preparation and service.
Life Choices Pregnancy Center - for people who struggle with the challenges of pregnancy and sexual
decisions. The center consists of trained peer counselors, classroom speakers, professional staff, and volunteers who care about, nurture and advise students and expectant parents in a trusting and open environment.
Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley - A non-profit, nondenominational Christian housing organization.
In addition to financial support, volunteers from Central provide lunches for Habitat workers twice a year.
Special Offerings:
Peacemaking Offering - The Peacemaking Offering is received by most congregations on World Communion
Sunday, celebrated the first Sunday in October. It is recommended that 25% of the offering received be retained by each congregation to use in local mission projects, 25% be used by synods and presbyteries, and 50% be used by the General Assembly ministries through the Presbyterian Peacemaking Program.
Christmas Joy Offering -
50% of the receipts from the Christmas Joy Offering are distributed to the Board of
Pensions for assistance programs that provide support to retired and active church workers and their spouses and families. The other 50% supports Presbyterian-related racial ethnic education through the National Ministries Division of the General Assembly Council.
Souper Bowl of Caring - The Souper Bowl of Caring is a youth-led, grassroots movement of caring, the result
of thousands of young people joining together to fight hunger and poverty in their communities. The Youth at Central collect donations on Super Bowl Sunday to support this mission.
One Great Hour of Sharing - Since 1949, Presbyterians have joined with millions of other Christians through
One Great Hour of Sharing to share God’s love with people experiencing need. Our gifts support ministries of disaster response, refugee assistance and resettlement, and community development that help people find safe refuge, start new lives, and work together to strengthen their families and communities. Recognizing that the hope we have in Christ is lived out in our hope for one another, we respond with gifts that help our sisters and brothers around the world find the hope for a brighter future. The Presbyterian Hunger Program receives 36% of undesignated One Great Hour of Sharing gifts, while the Self-Development of People and Presbyterian Disaster Assistance each receives 32%.
