Mission Statement: Partnering with parents to lead children to a relationship with Jesus through biblically based programs and activities.

 

Sunday School: Sunday mornings from September through May we have education classes for children of all ages.  The Bible account is presented thorough drama, puppets, storytelling and video.  We begin with all classes joining together for a time of singing.  

Sunday School ~ 9:45 to 10:45 am

Adventures in Worship: The children attend the worship services for singing and opening activities.  They then adjourn to their class room for a Bible account and activities on their level.  Snack, craft, video and games and all activities are based on a theme from scripture.

     Adventures in Worship Schedule:

          8:30 am - students 4 years old and up ~ Room 302

        11:00 am - students ages 3-5 ~ Room 202-204

                              Kindergarten-2nd grade ~ Room 302

                              3rd grade and up may attend Explorer Club in Room 301

                       where we will be looking at the life of Moses using Exodus

                       through Deuteronomy.  We will use DVDs, scripture, maps,

                       charts and lots of discussion.  Students who prefer to stay in

                       the sanctuary may fill out a sermon notes page and turn it in

                       for a treasure box prize at the kitchen in Fellowship Hall

                       following the service.

Library: A great place of age appropriate materials of both books, video, and DVD’s and and shelf for moms and dads on parenting helps.

Tremendous Tuesday:  During this July program kids receive a passport, and learn about other countries through games, craft and snack based on that country.

Great Date Night:  Enjoy an evening out with your spouse, or if you are a single parent invite a friend to join you. Mark your calendars for the second Friday of the month, September through May. Drop your child(ren) off at church at 5:45 p.m. and go for dinner, a walk, or whatever you can creatively do until 8:00 p.m. We ask that you bring a meal for your child. (Pack your own or a Happy Meal)  Also bring a toy or game your child enjoys and would be willing to share (it does go home with you) as we have a limited number of toys. If the weather is good we play outside so dress accordingly.  Sign up in Fellowship Hall or call the church office (303-776-6833) by the Tuesday before the date night.
